another woman with issues. shocker.

so this is the new thing i was talking about in my last post. it’s going to be a bit of a departure from my usual fare, but i figure you’ll get a reprieve from hearing about ladyhairs and my body image issues, and i’ll get the chance to help a friend.

see, i know this girl; for the purposes of depressionsandconfessions, her name will be olivia (i’ve always LOVED that name, but it’s been struck off the potential-baby-names list by my husband, so instead i’m using it as a pseudonym for my friend). none of you know her, so i feel ok talking about her here. in fact, i have her express permission to do so–she has some issues to work through, and she knows how much success i’ve had with the free therapy i get from all of you people, so i actually offered to make mondays a therapy session for olivia. i tried to get her to start her own damn blog, but she’s not as cool as me.

i wanted you to hear her story from my point of view, since you love me so much. she and i have had countless conversations about the things that have happened to her and where things went wrong in her life, so i know her like the back of my hand.

here’s how this thing is going to work: every monday, i’m going to post a “letter” from olivia to you, as written by me. it will detail some element of her life, and it will be personal and honest, just like i’ve always tried to be. you’ll get to read about an amazing person with an incredible and often entertaining life story, and i hope you’ll be kind enough to give her the same kind of feedback you’ve given me.

i now dub monday (you remember how i like to dub stuff, right?) as the day of olivia. if you will, the olivia chronicles.

oh oops, I went in the wrong order. Now this is all making a little more sense, haha. I’m enjoying the story though.
