Welcome back. I kind of missed you, a lot. Recently on T.V., Lowes has a commercial with a girl who is your doppelganger. Every time I see the commerical I think of you and how much I have missed your writing. Also, I completely agree with your final statement. 100% sista.

I really enjoyed this! I don’t have OCD, but am a carer to my partner who does have it, plus some others in my family do also.
I think it’s really important to see the funny side, otherwise you get bogged down with the hard side of it too much.

Interesting. I think you’re right — we (at least the we that are “educated”?) tend to walk on eggshells where race is concerned. I guess it’s because we don’t want to offend.

My first thought about this post? “Be thankful you aren’t white, because when you’re white, you can’t say ANYTHING… and the whole world hates your history.”
